How we make this site usable by as many people as possible: our commitment, the standards and how to report a barrier.
Our commitment
Playground designs digital experiences meant to be used by everyone. Accessibility is not a requirement bolted on at the end: it is part of how we work, from the very first line of code.
The reference standard
This site aims to comply with WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines and the principles of the European accessibility legislation. We check contrast, semantic structure, alternative text and content order.
What we took care of
We focus on what truly makes a site usable:
- Full keyboard navigation, with always-visible focus.
- Focus management in interactive components (menus, accordions, dialogs).
- Screen reader support with semantic markup and alternative text.
- Reduced motion: we respect the system preference by disabling non-essential effects.
- Color contrast verified in both light and dark themes.
Known limitations
Some animated or third-party content may not be fully accessible. Where an animation is not essential, we disable it for those who set reduced motion. We work to close any gap that emerges.
Reporting an issue
If you hit a barrier or need content in an alternative form, write to us: we act as soon as possible.
Commitment to accessibility
Playground is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines and with Italian and European digital accessibility legislation (Law 4/2004 “Stanca” and EU Directive 2016/2102).
Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: most content meets the criteria, with any exceptions being resolved.
Measures adopted
- Semantic content structure (hierarchical headings, landmarks, lists).
- Full keyboard navigation and a “skip to content” link.
- Compliant colour contrast and light/dark theme.
- Alternative text for informative images.
- Explicit labels in forms and clear error messages.
- Respect for the system “reduce motion” preference.
Known limitations
Some content embedded from third parties or uploaded documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve them.
